China on Friday rejected allegations that it had helped Pyongyang skirt authorizes after US President Donald Trump asserted on Twitter that Beijing was turning a visually impaired eye to oil exchanges to North Korea.
Trump's tweet was the most recent salvo in his fight to influence China to fix the financial screws on Pyongyang over its rocket and atomic program, in a battle that has seen him store both acclaim and feedback on Beijing.
"Caught In the act - extremely baffled that China is enabling oil to go into North Korea," Trump composed Thursday. "There will never be a neighborly answer for the North Korea issue if this keeps on happening!"
